Infrastructure Recruitment Group is partnered with one of the nations leading environmental firms who is seeking a Stormwater Client Services Manager to lead their growth in Houston, TX.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Stormwater Leads across the company to develop/implement strategy for continued stormwater growth and innovation across the company.
  • Manage planning and detailed design projects, including management of contract document production (i.e., plan sets and specifications), hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and construction services for stormwater management facilities. Project may include pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization, storage and treatment facilities, multi-benefit facilities, and other conveyance measures.
  • Some travel within Texas is expected.  Travel outside of Texas may also be needed to support strategic national efforts.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or other appropriate engineering major
  • 10+ years of experience relating to stormwater and water resources projects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with client service and business development efforts, including project positioning, proposal preparation, interviews, and technical presentations
  • Familiarity with standard stormwater analysis tools, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
  • A Texas engineering license or the ability to get one within 6 months

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or other appropriate engineering major
  • Experience with FEMA floodplain delineation and submittal of Letters of Map Revision and Conditional Letters of Map Revision
